Exploring Election
Over the last several Sundays I preached a short series exploring the doctrine of election. This series was an excursus from the expositional series looking at Ephesians and highlighting the word of praise Paul gives to God in 1:4 for choosing us in Christ. The aim was to introduce in more detail the doctrine of unconditional election, an often neglected teaching of Scripture.
The basis of much of the sermon material was taken from a longer work I wrote (I titled it “Exploring Election”) more than a decade ago as I worked through Scripture’s teaching about election. If you’d like a more robust treatment on the subject, exploring the objections and implications of unconditional election, I offer it for your consideration.
